SEC 285: Fundamentals of Information System Security
This course has provided an in-depth exploration of the fundamental concepts of information security, including the nature of security attacks and the defense mechanisms designed to thwart them.
This final project encompasses a range of critical topics, including file encryption and decryption, the implementation of stateful firewalls, conducting Nmap scans, developing a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) security policy, configuring multifactor authentication, and performing a comprehensive vulnerability assessment using tools like Nmap, Netcat, Wireshark, and Nessus. This holistic approach ensures that I not only grasp theoretical concepts but also acquired hands-on experience in deploying effective security measures.
ECT226: Electronic Device and System Foundations
Using Multisim to analyze and test active filters (REPORT)
DC and AC circuit fundamentals with analysis, simulation and measurements passive components (resistors, capacitors, and inductors). Semiconductor -based, such as diodes and transistors, are then introduced, followed by more complex integrated circuits and related electronic components, such as sensors and transducers. Students gain proficiency in working with complete electronic systems.
NETW 191: Fundamentals of Information Technology and Networking
The course project covers the fundamentals of networking that plays a vital role in the world of IoT. The design and development process of building a network includes SOHO router configurations, subnetting, connectivity testing, network documentation, and SOHO wireless network security. This foundation enables the learning of emerging technologies, including IoT, and has prepared me for a future career in Information Technology.
CEIS 114: Introduction to Digital Devices
Creating a Multiple Traffic Light Controller with a Cross Walk and an Emergency Buzzer with secured IoT Control via Web
This course project explores foundational electronic, digital, and system integration concepts common in modern computing devices. Digital devices are examined from the electronic component level to a fully integrated system. A practical device application is developed and prototyped as a possible real world device solution in the Internet of Things (IoT).
ECT 226: Electronic Device and System Foundations
Conveyor Belt using PLC
This course project focuses on the development and implementation of an advanced automated conveyor belt system to streamline the packaging and material handling processes.
CEIS308: Systems and Computer Aided Designs
Designing an electric toothbrush in AutoCAD Inventor
This project will challenged me to apply the fundamental skills of computer-assisted design (CAD) to create a 3D model of an electric toothbrush using Autodesk Inventor. Throughout the course, I progress through the key modules, starting with the creation of 2D drawings, moving into 3D modeling and editing, and culminating in the design of a fully functional electric toothbrush assembly.
TECH204: Everyday Physics
This course covers the basics of force and motion, matter and energy, energy conversion, electricity and magnetism, heat and light. Use of transducers for performing physical measurements associated with these concepts is incorporated. Logarithms and trigonometry are
introduced for analyzing problems in nature.
